By 2022, 250 first responders in Hamilton County, Ohio, had received this training. In a critical incident in October 2024, the training proved successful when police pursued their son for failing to yield. Due to the training and Ohio Database for Communication Disabilities, officers exercised restraint and provided him with a refresher on driving laws instead of arresting him.
